Heating distribution
The boiler is one part of a hot-water heating system. Pumps, valves, piping and controls help move heat into the rooms. A cold zone can have a different cause from a boiler that won’t fire.
For replacement, sound radiators and piping may remain. We review their condition, the home’s heat loss and the water temperatures the rooms need before recommending equipment.
Some boilers also heat household water through an indirect tank or a combination unit. Tell us if showers are affected as well as the radiators so the connected system can be considered.

Before you decide
Review the common questions and use the project scope planner to prepare questions about the equipment and work involved. Your home will need an assessment before a quote is prepared.
If your home uses radiators or heated floors, describe the problem as best you can. You do not need to know the boiler model, fuel type or whether it uses hot water or steam. We’ll help identify the system and confirm whether we can provide the service it needs.
Tell us if the boiler also supplies household hot water. Space-heating and tap-water concerns should be considered together before deciding on the work.
